Hi, I'm Julie, a visual artist working in watercolour, acrylic painting, ceramic sculpture, digital illustration and graphic design. Whimsy, quirky humour, nature and playful creativity are the themes that run throughout my work. I love art to be authentic and to reflect the human touch. For this reason I embrace the happy accidents, the fingerprints and the imperfections that come along the journey. I was born and raised in South Africa and currently live with my family in Roskilde where I work from my home studio. As a mom of 4, I am constantly inspired by my children’s creativity and I love to work on things that bring joy to those around me. I live with a dream of making everything around me beautiful and of impacting the world through playful creativity, hope and love.
